This privacy policy describes how Razycut collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our service. It applies to the Razycut website and application. By using the service, you acknowledge that you have read this policy.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Razycut.

2. Data we collect
Account data: email address, first and last name, and profile picture (avatar) when you provide one or via your Google or Apple sign-in.
Followed YouTube channels: the identifiers and metadata of the YouTube channels you connect so the service can monitor their videos.
Connected social media accounts: the accounts you link for publishing (via our publishing provider), along with the tokens and identifiers required for publication.
Generated content: the vertical clips produced by the service and their metadata (titles, captions, timestamps, durations, publication status).
Usage data: minutes consumed, activity logs, IP address, device and browser information, and technical data related to your use of the service.
Payment data: billing and payments are handled entirely by our payment provider. Razycut does not collect or store your card numbers. We only receive the information needed to manage your subscription (status, plan, billing dates).
Cookies: an authentication session cookie and a language preference cookie (rzc_lang). See the dedicated cookies section below.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Providing the service: monitoring your channels, detecting the best moments using AI, cutting captioned vertical clips and, where applicable, publishing them automatically. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
Billing and subscription management. Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligation.
Security, fraud and abuse prevention, and safeguarding the integrity of the service. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Customer support and responding to your requests. Legal basis: performance of the contract and legitimate interest.
Improving and developing the service (audience measurement, aggregated statistics, debugging). Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Non-essential cookies and any marketing communications. Legal basis: consent.
Compliance with our legal and accounting obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.
4. Recipients and processors
To provide the service, we rely on carefully selected processors and providers, who access your data only as needed for the service and in accordance with our instructions. They fall within the following categories:
An authentication and database provider, hosted in the European Union.
A payment and subscription management provider.
A provider for publishing to the social media accounts you connect.
The official APIs of the video platforms you connect, to detect and retrieve your videos.
A media storage provider (clips and related files).
Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers.
Artificial intelligence providers, for audio transcription and video moment analysis.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union. In that case, such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses) to ensure an adequate level of protection. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes described above.
After your account is deleted, your data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable timeframe, subject to retention periods imposed by law (in particular accounting and tax obligations).
Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes.
6. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure, including encryption of data in transit and access controls.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data using commercially reasonable means, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights over your personal data: the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability.
You can exercise these rights by emailing us at support@razycut.io. We may ask you for proof of identity in order to handle your request securely.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
8. Cookies
Razycut uses a limited number of cookies: an authentication session cookie, strictly necessary to keep you signed in and secure your session, and a language preference cookie (rzc_lang) that remembers the display language you chose.
These cookies are essential to the operation of the service. We do not resell your data and do not use these cookies for third-party targeted advertising.
Non-essential cookies, if any, are only set with your consent.
9. Minors
The service is reserved for adults aged at least 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, please contact us at support@razycut.io so we can delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may amend this privacy policy at any time to reflect changes to the service or to applicable regulations. The last updated date appears at the top of this page. In the event of a material change, we will notify you through an appropriate means.
11. Governing law
This policy is governed by French law. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the French courts.
The French version of this policy prevails over any translation.
